With the increased pressure on grades and school in general, especially in recent years, I decided to do my project on the corelation between society's focus on grades and mental health. This is an issue I've struggled with myself and although I don't suffer from depression or severe anxiety, I know a lot of people who do. The reason I chose this project was to see if homework and stress from school could contribute to a variety of mental illnesses, especially the ones I researched.
